Account & Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your Maveebo account and the personal data associated with it at any time. We will handle your request as quickly as we reasonably can.

How to request deletion

You can request deletion from within the Maveebo app, or by email. To request by email, send a message to privacy@maveebo.com from the email address that is connected to your Maveebo account. Sending from that address helps us verify the request is really from you. If you sign in with Apple and use an Apple private-relay address, please email us from that relay address.

Please use the following format:

To: privacy@maveebo.com Subject: Account deletion request Hi MAVIBO, Please delete my Maveebo account and the personal data linked to it. Account email: <your account email> Phone number (if used to sign in): <your phone number> User ID (if you have it): <your user ID> Thanks.

Any of the three identifiers above is enough to find your account — please include whatever you have. If you can no longer access the email linked to your account, contact us from another address and explain the situation, and we will help where we reasonably can.

What gets deleted

Once we have verified your request, we delete or anonymise the personal information linked to your account. This includes:

Messages you sent to another user may continue to exist in that user's chat history, since those copies are in their inbox, but identifying information about you is removed or anonymised.

Retained information is kept only for as long as needed for the purpose above and is protected in line with our Privacy Policy.
