Terms of Service
Welcome to Maveebo. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and MAVIBO LTD (“MAVIBO”, “we”, “us”), the operator of the Maveebo mobile app (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Maveebo
You must be at least 18 years old to use Maveebo. By using the App you confirm that you are 18 or older, that you can form a legally binding contract with MAVIBO LTD, and that you are not prohibited from using the App under any applicable law.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping your sign-in details secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Please contact support@maveebo.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, abuse or intimidate anyone.
- Post sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
- Impersonate another person, or create a profile that is fake or misleading.
- Solicit money, send spam, or use Maveebo for commercial or promotional purposes without our permission.
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, discriminatory, or that incites violence.
- Share intimate or private content of another person without their consent.
- Attempt to break, probe, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the App or its security.
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
Our Community Standards set out the full rules for using Maveebo, and our Child Safety Standards describe our zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation. By using Maveebo you agree to follow both. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour, and accounts that engage in it may be removed.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you post on Maveebo (such as your profile text, photos and messages). By posting content, you grant MAVIBO LTD a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display and transmit that content for the purpose of operating the App and the related service. This licence ends when you delete the content, except where we need to retain it for safety, legal compliance or dispute handling.
You are responsible for the content you share, and you confirm that you have the right to share it.
5. Safety and reporting
Maveebo is a social space, and your safety matters. If you see content or behaviour that breaks these Terms or feels unsafe, please report it from within the App, or email abuse@maveebo.com. For child-safety concerns, contact safety@maveebo.com — see our Child Safety Standards. You can also block other users at any time.
We may review reports, messages, profiles and other content to keep the community safe. We may remove content and take action on accounts that break these Terms.
6. Suspension and removal
We may suspend, limit or close accounts that break these Terms, that put other people at risk, or where we are legally required to do so. Where possible we will tell you the reason, but in serious cases we may act immediately and without notice.
You can stop using Maveebo at any time. You can request deletion of your account by following the steps on the Account & Data Deletion page.
7. The App is provided “as is”
Maveebo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, MAVIBO LTD does not make any warranties about the App, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your expectations or lead to any particular outcome. You use Maveebo at your own discretion and risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MAVIBO LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses arising out of your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. When we change these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. If changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use Maveebo after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law and venue
MAVIBO LTD is registered in the State of Israel. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa, Israel will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Maveebo, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you a non-waivable right to bring claims in your local courts or to have your local law apply.
